[Board Rules] Applications

Applications are a way of members being able to tell the staff a little bit about them and that they're interested in ranking up.

However, just because you apply doesn't mean you'll get your rank. Staff reserve the right to accept or reject any application for any reason. If you don't get it, it might be because you don't have enough experience or because a position might be filled already.

When a member posts an application, the only people that should reply to it is the STAFF or the applying member. And even the staff can choose to talk in private.

Here is the required format of your application:

IGN (In-Game Name): Tell us what your Minecraft name is. Age: Let us know how old you are. Current Rank: What's your current server rank? Rank Requested: Moderator applications ONLY! (5/2/15) Experience: Let us know what your past experience is. Why should we accept you? Why do you deserve this position? When can you be online? How often can you log on the server? Any additional info? Let us know of anything else we need to know.

One application topic per user, please. The staff will respond to your topic accordingly and will handle whether or not you will be promoted to your requested rank. If you are not promoted, the staff may choose to compromise and promote you up to another rank instead.

The ranks are as follows:

Guest: New members will have this rank until promoted by an Administrator, Moderator, or Helper.
Builder: Permission for Survival and certain kits.
Moderator: First level of the Staff. Keeper of the peace on the server.
Administrator: Second level of Staff. Overseer of the server.
Party Patrol: Considered the Chief Administrator.
Owner: Owner of Spirecraft, held by Jerky404.

Certain ranks do not accept applications (Owner, Party Patrol) and thus will be rejected if applied for. Staff members reserve the right to reject applications based on qualification, formatting, etc...
